Highland Coo & Calf

The Highland Coo and Calf were my very first commission created for a private client in Derbyshire. The client’s love of cattle inspired the piece, with the rust working its magic over time to create the illusion and texture of the cattle’s orange fur. Though the animal is quite bulky, the weight has been reduced through the use of a hollow centre, with lower forks allowing the wind to travel safely through.
